A Piece of Belgian History for Your Home: Antique Porcelain Pots from the Late 1800s

At Elm & Fig, we believe the most beautiful spaces tell a story. Our sourced Antique Belgian Porcelain Pots are more than just décor—they're a living piece of European history that brings timeless elegance and character to any home.

Rich Heritage, Remarkable Craftsmanship

Crafted between the late 1800s and early 1900s, these stunning porcelain pots were produced at the iconic Manufacture de Porcelaine de Baudour in Belgium. Originally created for La Ferme des Templiers—a historic farm once owned by Victor Mirland, a renowned maker of pâte de pommes (apple paste) and artisanal marmalades—each pot holds echoes of a beautifully preserved past.

These vessels played a vital role in Belgian culinary heritage, used for generations to store and serve homemade preserves. The factory that made them remained in operation for five generations, continuing this legacy until 1970.
